Romeo, Romeo where art tho Romeo?

No, I did not die! I'm alive and well. I am sorry for slacking on the blogging lately... I suppose I've just been really busy. Even with that, I have not had any real new photo shoots or fun pictures to post. But I want to tell you guys about something for a while... and since Valentines day was yesterday I figured it would be most appropriate!

Verona Italy
Last summer I went to Europe with about 35 people from my senior class for 19 days, Crazy? yes I know its hard to believe I was actually there. Well while we were there we had the chance to go visit Verona Italy; specifically Via Galilei, n. 3-37133 VERONA. For those of you who do not know the love story of Romeo and Juliet, this is where the were said to have lived. It is a story of two young lovers, who have to overcome struggles. There parents both equally hated the other family, in other words rival families.  Well I got to go to the place where Juliet's balcony, her statue, and grave is. Well at this court yard there is a wall full of letter with people with broken hearts or couples whom are in love. But there is another unique thing about this place aside from how much you can feel the broken hearts the sadness, but also the joy and the hope.

The writings of the hearts of the visitors from all over the world

Juliet's balcony

There are these Lady's; Juliet's secretary's.
Well I wrote Juliet a letter just asking about love, life and a way to find hope that one day I just might find my Romeo. Little did I know when I walked out to the mail box just three short months later I would receive a letter from Verona Italy.
I opened it and she basically told me to be patient and follow my heart.

Even though it was a short letter, it meant the world to me! I hold that letter so tightly it is really moving. It gave me hope for love again. Something that I lost before.Even though I still have not found my Romeo I know because of her that he is out there and I will find him.

I hope that this will encourage you who have not found your Romeo or Juliet, that they are out there and just follow your heart!
I wish that all of you had a wonderful Valentines day!
                     xoxo Sincerely,
Sophie
